Malaria in Children

This presentation focuses on helping you to understand what malaria is, how it is transmitted, the distribution of the disease geographically and risk factors that place certain members of populations more at risk than others, especially children, the signs and symptoms of infection, the burden that the disease places upon those who live in the endemic communities as well as the burden on the rest of the world, how malaria may be treated, and most importantly, how it can be prevented.
