Food borne infection from food from local restaurants in Lagos, Nigeria-

This presentation focuses on the causes of foodborne infections in local restaurants in Lagos, Nigeria, and the need for the creation and monitoring of food standards in these local restaurants. The presentation is directed to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), all food handlers, and members of the public that visit local restaurants in Nigeria.

    Interesting post and topic. I do agree with you that a large percentage of local food vendors in Lagos are unhygienic. In fact about 57% have no formal education. Do you think the agency in charge of regulating local food outlets in Nigeria are up to the task of ensuring compliance to avoid food poisoning and contamination? Well done.
