Public Health and Emergency Preparedness for Minority Communities Presentation

This is a very important presentation on public health preparedness for minority communities.  Unfortunately, many health professionals believe we can deliver the same cookie cutter presentation to all communities and everyone will be on the same page, understanding what to do if an emergency should arise.  Well,  as in everything, uniqueness is what makes this nation so great and we must keep in mind, diverse communities must receive information that fits the community,  and the people in the community. The information must also be presented in a culturally sensitive manner and presented by someone who the community trusts.
