Dengue: A Tropical Vector Borne Disease in the Cayman Islands

The  goal of this presentation is to provide health care professionals and other community members in the Cayman Islands with current information regarding the epidemiological characteristics of dengue. 

Education  is important to  initiate preventive measures  or implement treatment that will subsequently prevent  dengue epidemic despite the associated environmental risks in the Caribbean islands.

  1. Hi Deborah, the information presented was quite educational , however it would be interesting to know if the prevalence of dengue cases in the Cayman Islands is directly related to preventive measures of the health care workers and are the rates comparable to other Caribbean islands?

    I thought your presentation was very well done. I appreciate you effort. It gave me a better idea of how to develop presentations in the future.

    May I ask how you approached the project. Did you type up the information you wanted to present first and then make slides out of it?
