Our Neighborhood, Our Planet, Our Responsibility

Hello, my name is Renee Chapman and this presentation focuses on the importance of recycling in regards to residential apartments in New York City.  Co-op city, located in the Bronx, NY is the largest co-operative housing development in the world with 15,372 residential apartment units and 236 townhouses. The population is diverse and immense, and would greatly benefit from a solid recycling program which at present is not in place. This presentation is directed toward community board leaders of Co-op City. Click here to access the presentation. I hope that the information is helpful. If you have any questions, or care to leave a comment, please do so, below. Thank you.

  1. It’s a wonderful post. It’s also heartwarming to read about my former borough in the Bronx. It would be a great emphasis if the tennants, management and the city took the time to invest in recycling. What a beautiful way we can repay our planet.
