This presentation focuses on efforts to motivate the Norfolk Public School System, Virginia Department of Education, Virginia Board of Education, and the Child Nutritional Services to share the responsibility to improve the nutritional environment within the primary and secondary schools with the parents, students, and other community sponsors and to highlight the importance of nutrition. This presentation is directed to the parents and students of Norfolk Public schools.

  1. Thanks for your presentation. It was very informative. Without question, the need for good and appropriate nutrition among our primary and secondary students is important. Good habits developed early will (hopefully) carry through with them in adulthood.

    Excellent Job! Your presentation was very informative and the information you provided will help the primary and secondary food providers the opportunity to understand the importance of the foods currently being served to students and the opportunity to address the necessary changes that can reduce the risk factors involving possible health issues.
